Alliance Police adds three units to the fleet

ALLIANCE -- In late October, the Alliance Police Department took delivery of three low-mileage, used patrol cars purchased from Chicago Motors in Chicago, Illinois.
These vehicles feature all-wheel-drive, and the latest safety features to keep officers safe. The vehicles were transported to Creative Signs by Cozad, in Gering, where the police decals were applied.
Next, all three went to Rapid City for an upfitting by SVT Sontech. Sontech provided the most competitive bid and did a fantastic job installing lights, sirens, radar units, partitions, gun racks, laptops, printers and other equipment in the vehicles.
Special thanks to Parker Dahlberg, Alliance Police Department Fleet Manager, who spent a great deal of time researching vehicles, equipment, and installation options to ensure we ended up with a top-notch product while remaining within our budget.
The Alliance Police Department is excited to add these vehicles to its fleet as the department continue to retire aging vehicles and update equipment.
