KIMBALL, Neb. — A Wyoming fugitive wanted for forgery and probation violation was arrested in Kimball on Thursday after law enforcement executed a warrant service.

According to the Kimball Police Department, officers received information that Ruthie Lawson was in the 200 block of South Elm Street. After verifying the felony warrant, police—along with the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office—took Lawson into custody without incident.

Authorities thanked the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance and praised the community for staying vigilant.
