SCOTTSBLUFF -- 25-year-old Darrion Estrada, was sentenced recently to the Nebraska Department of Corrections for Third Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and Intentional Child Abuse.

Each charge comes with a three-year sentence to be served concurrently. He also was give 292 days credit for time served. He will be required to register as a sex offender and have 18 months of post-release supervision.

He was found guilty in a Scotts Bluff District Court January 21, 2025. He was arrested in April 2024 after authorities met with the 14-year-old victim.
