School board recognizes February Students of the Month

SIDNEY -- The Sidney School District Board of Education recognized the March students of the month at the April 14 board meeting.
7th grade: Birkley Allington – Sidney Middle School is happy to name Birkley Allington as the 7th grade student of the month for March. Birkley is a strong academic student and manages to be very active in sports and school activities. Birkley is always willing to assist others to understand problems and demonstrates the strong desire to learn by asking questions when she does not understand. Her responsibility in the classroom and her determination to excel make her an outstanding student. Birkley is the daughter of Bruce and Kortney Allington.
8th grade: Ryder Huck – Ryder Huck has been selected as Sidney Middle School’s 8th grade March Student of the Month. Ryder is consistently displaying qualities that are desirable for a student representing Sidney Middle School. Ryder sets a positive example each day in his academics and behaviors both inside and out of the classroom. When presented a new challenge, Ryder faces that obstacle head-on with confidence and determination.
This exemplifies his strong work ethic and dedication to his academics and extracurricular activities. Ryder displays kindness to all individuals and has a positive personality that makes him stand out among his peers.
In working with Ryder, he is always respectful to his peers, classmates, teachers and staff. His determination, dedication, perseverance, and excellent work ethic have made him a great choice for student of the month. He is the son of Brandon and Lindsey Huck.
9th grade: Jarrett Mazour – Jarrett is an energetic student who has an excellent work ethic and drive in his approach to his education. He has a positive attitude in class and is willing to help his classmates. Jarrett is the son of Mark and Lottie Mazour.
10th grade: Stephen Hunt – Stephen is such a respectful, hard-working student. He continually displays a positive attitude and works to overcome obstacles. He is a positive influence in the classroom, on the speech team, and in the Art Club. He is kind to others and makes a great effort in all of his classes and activities. Stephen is the son of Alex Maestas and Brandy Parissenti.
11th grade: Aubrey Campbell – Aubrey consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic in class and serves as an excellent example of what it means to be a Sidney Raider. She is always kind, courteous, and ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Aubrey is the daughter of Kevin and Devona Campbell.
12th grade: Cooper Jobman – Cooper is an excellent student. He continually provides intricate analysis and puts forth quality work. He is respectful and relates well with his teachers and peers. Cooper is the son of Chris and Natalie Jobman.
