Awana celebrates youth achievements at awards/parents night in Sidney
Kids in Sidney were honored at Awana Awards Night for memorizing up to 137 Bible verses.

SIDNEY — The Awana ministry held its Awards and Parents Night on Wednesday at the Evangelical Free Church in Sidney, recognizing the accomplishments of local children who spent the school year memorizing scripture and completing faith-based curriculum.
Spark Award winners received the Sparky Trophy for completing three books, totaling 93 scripture verses. T&T Award recipients earned the Timothy Trophy for completing four books, representing 137 scripture verses.
Awana is a nondenominational ministry serving children from the year before kindergarten through sixth grade. The program focuses on Bible memory and fellowship and faith-building through games and other fun events. The program runs throughout the school year.
