City seeking new Economic Development Director

The City of Sidney is seeking a new Economic Development Director. Brandy Stone has submitted her resignation citing personal reasons. Her last day is August 22.

SIDNEY -- The City of Sidney is seeking a new Economic Development Director. 

City Manager David Scott announced Friday afternoon Brandy Stone decided to resign for personal reasons.

The City of Sidney is advertising the position of Economic Development Director.

Stone was hired by the City in March 2024.

Stone is from the Potter-Dix area, graduating from Potter High School in 2010. After attending college for a couple of years, she joined the U.S. Army in 2013, serving in Active Duty for seven years before transitioning to the Reserve.

She holds degrees in Emergency Management, Strategic Communication, Intelligence Operations Studies, and Project Management.
