Huskers Tie Jackrabbits in Exhibition Opener

The Nebraska soccer team tied the South Dakota State Jackrabbits, 0-0, in an exhibition match in Brookings, S.D., on Tuesday night. 

Ellie Felt recorded four shots, two on goal, while Ava Makovicka logged two shots, both of which were on goal. Graduate student Reagan Raabe added three shots and Ella Rudney had two. 

Goalkeeper Cece Villa notched two saves in the second half to keep the Jackrabbits scoreless. 

NU will continue exhibition play on Friday, Aug. 8 at 7 p.m. against the Colorado State Rams at Barbara Hibner Stadium. Admission is free for fans and live stats will be available here.
