Sidney police seeking information on stolen pickup

SIDNEY, Neb. – The Sidney Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a pickup reported stolen in the community late Saturday night.

Authorities said the vehicle is a black 2006 GMC K1500 with Nebraska license plate 39-739A. A “VORTEX” sticker is displayed on the back right window. The truck was last seen in Sidney around 9 p.m.

Police are urging anyone who spots the vehicle not to approach it. Instead, witnesses should immediately contact the Sidney Police Department at 308-254-5515 with the location and any other details.

The department is encouraging residents to share the information with friends and family in the area to help recover the truck.
