Laura Schillereff named Kimball Health Services’ July Employee of the Month

KIMBALL -- Laura Schillereff received the Kimball Health Services Employee of the Month for July. 

Schillereff has been with KHS for two years as an RN and member of the KHS night staff. 

“(Laura) has gone way above the call of duty,” her nomination read. “She loves her job, and she loves helping people. She is very knowledgeable and caring for her patients. She listens to the patient’s concerns and questions, showing support and concern. We appreciate you.” 

Schillereff says she was very honored to be awarded and loves the caring atmosphere at the hospital as well as meeting community members and being able to help people get better. 

“My career has offered many opportunities and challenges and to be recognized by my work community is wonderful,” Schillereff said. “I enjoy the one-on-one time with my patients and have enjoyed the many learning opportunities of this job.” 

Each Employee of the Month winner receives an EOM certificate, a lapel pin to be attached to their lanyard or ID card, a $25 gift certificate to a Kimball-area business, an EOM parking space, and a free KHS cafeteria meal each week for the duration of the month.  

Each monthly winner’s name will also be considered for the KHS Employee of the Year award.
