Kathryn Ann Disney, a beloved mother and sister, passed away peacefully at age 83 in Lodgepole, NE on August 28, 2025. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. with a Rosary prior to mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sidney, NE with Father C.P. Varghese officiating. Burial will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery. Lunch will follow the burial at the St. Patrick’s Parish Center.

Services will be livestreamed on the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel Facebook page and recorded for later viewing on our website. Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 to leave condolences for the family.

Kathryn was born on March 27, 1942 in Sidney, NE, to Marjorie and Edward Disney. After graduating from St. Patrick’s Academy in Sidney, she moved to Colorado where she created a warm and nurturing home for her two sons. Kathryn then had a successful career in real estate.

Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends and spending time at the family farm in Nebraska.She is survived by her son, Travis Thompson (Allyson) of Benton, AR, grandson Edward Thompson (Jennifer) of Houston, TX, granddaughter Caroline Thompson of Dallas, TX, brother Larry Disney (Tonie) of Aurora, CO, niece Laura Giggy (J.C.) of Greeley, CO, nephew Taylor Disney of Estes Park, CO, and niece Kimberly Disney-Mulowayi (Gerry) of Longmont, CO.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents Marjorie and Edward Disney and son Mark Thompson.
