Public meeting to discuss renovation of former Kimball Health Services hospital

The public is invited to attend a meeting regarding the upcoming renovation of the former Kimball Health Services hospital.

KIMBALL -- The public is invited to attend a meeting regarding the upcoming renovation of the former Kimball Health Services hospital. 

Two meeting options are available, one on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 6:30 p.m., and another on Friday, Oct. 24 at 3 p.m. Both will be held at the Kimball County Transit Building located at 233 S. Chestnut St.

The former hospital will be turned into a regional Crisis Stabilization and Substance Use Treatment Center. 

Central Wyoming Counseling Center (CWCC) and Regional 1 Behavioral Health Authority have organized the meetings to share information about how the project will serve the Nebraska Panhandle, gather feedback from community members, and answer any questions or concerns the public may have.
