Kimball Health Services welcomes new EMS Director

KIMBALL -- Kimball Health Services has a new Director of Emergency Medical Services.

Ed Girmus started his position as the EMS Director on Monday and has been a paramedic with KHS for the past four-and-a-half years.

“I’m looking forward to continuing to give the highest patient care that we can and give all the paramedics and EMT’s all the tools they need,” Girmus said.

Girmus has also been teaching CPR and other advanced certification classes for the past few years.

“I am big into education and making sure even though we’re in a small town, we get the education and knowledge that you’d expect in a bigger city,” he said.
