Garden County makes their second straight District Final

Garden County looks to make their second straight District Final appearance in D2 Volleyball after a 3-0 set win over Potter-Dix to capture the D2-11 Sub-District Championship.

OSHKOSH - Garden County is headed to its second straight D2 District Final after sweeping Potter-Dix in straight sets Tuesday night to claim the D2-11 Sub-District Championship.

The Lady Eagles were led by junior Kirstyn Beberniss, who delivered a standout performance with 9 kills, 2 blocks, 2 ace serves, and 16 assists.

Senior Ridglyn Stanczyk dominated from the service line with 9 aces, while also adding 8 kills and 11 assists. Senior Karma Peterson chipped in with 8 kills and a block.

Garden County totaled 33 kills on 28 assists, along with 13 ace serves and 4 blocks in the win.

Potter-Dix was led by senior Micayla McConnell, who recorded a team-high 5 kills and an ace.

Senior Kenzie Shoemaker added 4 kills, and freshman Devani Ferichs tallied 2 kills and 2 blocks.

The Coyotes finished the night with 12 kills, 11 assists, 5 blocks, and 2 ace serves.

With the win, Garden County improves to 30-3 and officially advances to the D2 District Final, where they’ll compete for a trip to the state tournament. Potter-Dix concludes its season with a 10-22 record.
