KIMBALL -- The Kimball community is invited to watch the annual Parade of Lights this Saturday, Nov. 29 at 5 p.m.

Over a dozen local businesses and organizations are participating in the parade this year, a few of them being: New Hope Assembly of God, High West Energy, Heritage Cafe, Santa’s Helpers, and Clean Harbors.

Chelsea Autrey and Laura Perry organize the parade every year to give the town a fun experience.

“[The parade is] a chance to see our community coming together to do something fun for the kids and gives an opportunity for our local kids to have a chance to see Santa,” Autrey said. “I think just trying to do something for our community that keeps people here, so they don’t have to travel somewhere to see a parade of lights.”

Following the parade, Santa will be at Nebraska Coffee for kids to visit. There will also be cider and hot chocolate for the kids and drinks available for purchase.
