The Wolfpack will head to their first state appearance since 2022 after a 77-54 win over Potter-Dix Saturday afternoon in Elgin.

ELGIN - The Wolfpack will head to their first state appearance since 2022 after a 77-54 win over Potter-Dix Saturday afternoon in Elgin.

Elgin Public/Pope John was led by senior Jarek Erickson with 28 points, going 8-of-8 from the charity stripe and knocking down a pair of threes.

Senior Karson Kallhoff knocked down 5-threes and finished with 21 points while sophomore Max Henn captured 18 points.

The Wolfpack finished the game hitting 8-threes and shot 9-of-10 from the charity stripe.

Potter-Dix was led by junior John Dhooge who finished with 15 points and knocking down 3-threes.

Senior Kolby Labeau ended with 11 points.

The Coyotes knocked down 10-threes and went 5-of-11 from the charity stripe.

Potter-Dix will finish their season with a record of 14-12. Elgin Public/Pope John will head to Lincoln for the boys state tournament for the first time since 2022.
