Hemingford man assaults police officers at Scottsbluff hospital

Several Scottsbluff police officers were treated for minor injuries following an incident at Regional West Medical Center on Thursday.

SCOTTSBLUFF - Several Scottsbluff police officers were treated for minor injuries following an incident at Regional West Medical Center on Thursday.

The Scottsbluff Police Department responded to a call at 11:15 a.m. to assist with a patient who was "being disruptive and threatening to staff."

Police say Kade Patrick Weber, 23 of Hemingford, became combative and assaulted several officers. He was arrested and taken to the Scotts Bluff County Jail. 

Weber faces three counts of felony assault on a police officer and one count each of resisting arrest, trespassing and disorderly conduct.

The Gering Police Department and RWMC Security Staff assisted in the incident.
