Triple homicide person of interest in custody

PINE RIDGE -- Oglala Sioux Tribe Police and the FBI said they are investigating a triple homicide near Manderson. 

The FBI said two men and a woman were fatally shot in the early morning hours last Wednesday at a home in Wounded Knee on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. 

Officials said the person of interest, Elijah West, is in custody and his being held on unrelated charges. 

The victims have been identified as 39-year-old Michael White Plume Senior, James Graham and Alma Garneaux, both 38. 

According to the Tribal Police, West was arrested at a Manderson home following a search. 

Formal charges are pending.
