Police arrest Scottsbluff man for drug possession

Dustin Leonhardt, of Scottsbluff, is accused of possession with intent to distribute a large amount methamphetamine, heroin and fentanyl.

SCOTTSBLUFF - Dustin Leonhardt, of Scottsbluff, is accused of possession with intent to distribute a large amount methamphetamine, heroin and fentanyl.

According to an arrest affidavit, an off-duty police officer witnessed Leonhardt at Walmart, which led to officers arriving and arresting Leonhardt near the checkout.

Officers searched his front pocket and there was three separate zip lock bags containing a crystalized substance suspected to be Methamphetamine.

In the zip lock bag there was another bag containing brown tar and powdery substances suspected to be Heroin.

Another zip lock bag had blue pills that had an imprint M30-10 on them. The officers recognized these pills to be Fentanyl pills.

Officers also found Leonhardt also had $1,678 in cash in his possession.
