Scottsbluff wrestling finishes fifth at state dual tournament

KEARNEY, Neb. (KNEP) - The Scottsbluff wrestling team took home a 5th place finish at the Nebraska State Class B Dual Tournament.

Bearcats opened the tournament with a close 33-27 loss to Hastings in round one.

Scottsbluff rebounded with two wins to end their tournament run. Cats winning 50-15 over Minden and Broken Bow 36-19. Bennington took home the Class B state title defeating Blair 33-32 in the championship.
