Dunbar signs with South Dakota School of Mines

Chadron’s Dawson Dunbar is the 2nd Cardinal to join the South Dakota School of Mines football program. Dunbar recently signed his letter of intent with the Hardrockers, joining teammate Justus Alcorn.

Dunbar, a recent selection to this summer’s annual Shrine Bowl game, tallied almost 1300 total yards this season and 18 touchdowns.

Dunbar was an all-Western Conference selection this past season and earned all-state honorable mention honors.

Dunbar picked the Hardrockers over a handful of baseball opportunities.
