NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) -On Saturday, a North Platte tradition reemerged that celebrates Buffalo Bill and generates additional funds for Nebraskaland Days. For at least three decades, the Buffalo Bill Birthday Bash has brought together various Nebraskaland Days business sponsors and community members to raise money for the annual festival.

“It is great to have everyone helping out,” said David Fudge, Executive Director of Nebraskaland Days Inc. “We truly appreciate the community support for the festival.”

Funds are generated from the silent and live auctions and ticket sales, which are then used for facility improvements and growing the Nebraskaland days festival.

“Any money we raise here can go to offset operating expenses that we would have to take out in June,” said Fudge. “This is a great way to help out the festival and get top-level entertainers to come to North Platte. Fundraisers like this help us be the destination attraction that everyone wants us to be in the Midwest.”

Tickets for this year’s Nebraskaland Days festival are on sale now. For more information visit, https://nebraskalanddays.com/.
