American Freedom Convoy arrives in Big Springs Thursday evening
On Thursday, the Midwest Convoy with the American Freedom Convoy is rolling into Nebraska.

BIG SPRINGS - On Thursday, the Midwest Convoy with the American Freedom Convoy is rolling into Nebraska. The Peoples Convoy Nebraska group is hosting a rally in Big Springs on Thursday evening.
Drivers plan to stop in Big Springs for the night, Thursday. The rally begins at 5:00 p.m. MST, Thursday, and trucks are scheduled to be arriving during the rally at approximately 6:00 p.m. MST.
The rally is being held off I-80 at Big Springs. Organizers say, in addition to a variety of guest speakers, a drive to gather donations for needed items and prepaid gift cards is being held throughout the evening. All donations will be sent with the convoy, which is travelling to Washington D.C. to peacefully protest COVID-19 mandates.
On Friday, March 4, the convoy is departing Big Springs in time to arrive in North Platte at approximately 11:30 a.m. CST. The “Cheer location” is the Newberry Access Road overpass. Organizers say to “bring flags, signs, banners, and a patriotic spirit.”
