Sioux County Recognized For Activity Participation

Sioux County High School has been recognized by the Nebraska School Activities Association for the percentage of students that participate in multiple high school activities.

Sioux County High School has been recognized by the Nebraska School Activities Association for the percentage of students that participate in multiple high school activities.

The award recognizes students in the school who participate in three activities or more.

The Warriors were 10th in Class D with a 76.5% participation rate, meaning that 26 of the 34 students at Sioux County were involved in more than one sport, music, or fine art activity.

Elgin Pope John led Class D and the entire state at 96.8%. Pender topped Class C at 64.6%.

Sidney was inside the top 10 of Class B at #8 with 19.1% while Adams Central was #1 with 36% participation. Norfolk led Class A at 10%.
