It was a bittersweet finish for the men's golf team as NJC competed in Odessa at the NJCAA National Golf Tournament with the best golfers in the county.

Even though Northeastern took many young golfers, they held their own in a field of fierce competitors that only will build confidence as many will return for the 22-23 season which starts this Fall.

The Plainsmen took six golfers down to the tournament for a chance to showcase their skills and represent NJC in NJCAA's biggest golf event of the year.  Out of the 24 NJCAA teams that competed, NJC was able to come out with a 22nd place finish, beating out 2 teams respectively, 1 of which was a Region IX team.

Over the 4 days of play, Northeastern had a total score of 1238, which was a total of 86 strokes over par.
