GERING, Neb. -- A Nebraska Panhandle man is facing multiple charges after an incident in Gering.

The Gering Police Department says it was dispatched to a vandalism incident after a homeowner said that he had video footage of 42-year-old Eli Aguilar destroying two vehicles, as well as smashing in a window of the homeowner's basement.

In the video, Aguilar is reportedly seen swinging a yellow crow bar. Authorities say the same crowbar was used to destroy the two vehicles as well as threatening the homeowner.

Court documents have stated that Aguilar spray painted the vehicles in a red spray paint as well.

When officers approached Aguilar, he reportedly stated to officers that he was too drunk to be answering questions. He was then arrested for terroristic threats and vandalism.
