Chadron hospital worker receives prestigious award

CHADRON, Neb. -- A Panhandle hospital worker has received a prestigious award.

Diana Lecher, Chadron Community Hospital's Director of Home Health, Hospice and Cardio/Pulmonary Rehabilitation, was awarded the Leading Light Award last Thursday.

Lecher received the award at the annual Panhandle Safety & Wellness Conference.

The award, given in honor of the late Chadron CPA Annie Loutzenhiser, recognizes individuals for their dedication and leadership to employee health and wellbeing in the Panhandle.

Lecher received the award with much of her family in attendance.

Lecher was nominated by her fellow staffers at Chadron Community Hospital, who called her “a true leading light” who is “enthusiastic about their team."
