Authorities investigating robbery at Sidney gas station

SIDNEY - A suspect is in custody accused of robbing a gas station in south Sidney Tuesday night.

Cheyenne County Sheriff Adam Frerichs says the Git 'n Split at 1912 10th Ave., near Legion Park, was robbed. One of his deputies observed the lone suspect on foot and was able to apprehend him without incident. 

The Sidney Police Department also responded to the scene. 

More information about the robbery was expected to be released Wednesday morning.
