DIX - I-80 has re-opened following a semi-truck accident that had the eastbound lanes of the interstate shut down for over an hour Thursday morning.

The roads were snow covered when a semi-truck ran off I-80 this morning about three miles west of Potter.   A second semi then ran into the trailer of the first truck. There were no injuries reported in the incident however Regional West Ambulance Services did respond.  Nebraska State Patrol and The Potter Fire Protection District were also on scene.

A second incident was reported during the storm when a single car left the road going westbound near mile marker 22.  The Nebraska State Patrol responded to that scene where no injuries were reported.
