Authorities searching for escaped inmate from McCook work camp

Authorities are searching for an escaped inmate from the Nebraska Department of Corrections Work Ethic Camp in McCook.

McCOOK, Neb. - Authorities are searching for an escaped inmate from the Nebraska Department of Corrections Work Ethic Camp in McCook. 

According to McCook Police, Ronald J. Grant (ID# 63102), 39, escaped custody at approximately 7:58 p.m. Sunday night. He's 5'9", 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has multiple tattoos and longer hair, authorities said in a press release. 

Law enforcement agencies searched the north side of McCook Sunday evening, but as of 1:47 a.m. Monday, the suspect had not been located. 

Police say to keep all house doors and vehicles locked. Do not approach Grant. Instead, call 911 immediately.
