NORTH PLATTE, Neb. -- The Nebraska State Patrol held alcohol compliance checks in Lincoln County last Sunday.

NSP said they did the checks in the afternoon and evening of Feb. 26 in Lincoln County. They reportedly check 14 different businesses at that time.

Officials said one of the businesses that was checked sold alcohol to a minor for a non-compliance rate of 7%. All of the 14 businesses checked the minor’s ID. The business that reportedly sold to a minor was Antonio's Italian Bistro in North Platte.

According to authorities, they checked convenience stores, grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, and bars. Businesses that sell alcohol to a minor are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission while clerks that sell alcohol to a minor are cited for procuring alcohol for a minor.
