Shamrock Run draws more than 50 participants

SIDNEY -- The Cheyenne County Community Center's Shamrock & Roll 5K was held Saturday morning, March 11, with 56 participants.

The 10 a.m. event had runners and walkers battling cold wind and cool temperatures with the rolling hills associated with the walking path in Legion Park. Early registrants received an event hoodie.

Trevon Newmann took first place in the men's division with Peyton Tanner in second place. Owen Narjes took first place in the youth division, followed by Brookyn Brandt.

First place finishers received $50 and second place finishers $25.
