Sen. Pete Ricketts opens new office in Scottsbluff

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - US Senator Pete Ricketts will have an office in Scottsbluff to assist the area with congressional help.

On Wednesday, US Senator Pete Ricketts held an opening ceremony for his Scottsbluff office which is located at 115 Railway street. This office will be open to anyone in the area to find resources and speak to Ricketts staff about the issues that matter most to the community. As well as find more information on Ricketts agenda in Washington D.C.

“We got the office here in Scottsbluff, where people can come in talk about legislative issues or policy issues as well get constitutional services and then one of the other things I did as Governor is travel the state of Nebraska, talk with folks about what we are doing in state government and that will be the same as US senator. Ill continue to travel the state like I’m doing now to make sure people have an opportunity to know what we have going on in Washington D.C.,” Ricketts said.

During the opening, Ricketts was able to listen to the community and learn more about some of the important topics in the area. Ricketts also discussed all of what he has accomplished and what he plans to accomplish in the future, and gave more information on any topic people wished to find out more on.
