Firefighters respond to landfill grass fire

UPDATE: Police receive report of fire at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, followed by report of arson at 4:05 p.m.

SIDNEY -- Firefighters were called to a grass fire at landfill this afternoon. The fire was focused on the grass and brush site just outside of the main facility.

Billows of white smoke are drifting from the Landfill this afternoon. Smoke was seen Wednesday afternoon from the landfill as well.
