Sterling firefighters rescue dog in structure fire
STERLING, Colo. -- Sterling firefighters saved a family and their four-legged member of the family in a recent call.

STERLING, Colo. -- Sterling firefighters saved a family and their four-legged member of the family in a recent call.
On April 6, firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire. People on scene reported a dog had not been accounted for. Lt. Wolf and Engineer Monahan, and other crew members began a search of the first floor for victims and for the dog.
The dog "Lola" was quickly located and taken to the front yard where CPR was administered.
Lola was reunited with members of the Sterling Fire Department's C-Shift April 12.
