Allison Deal awarded American Legion Auxiliary scholarship

SIDNEY -- Sidney High School Senior, Allison Deal, is the recipient of the Health Care Scholarship from the American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) Department of Nebraska. Sidney ALA Unit #17 sponsored her application.

Wanting a career where she could help people every day, especially in what may be one of their most difficult times, Allison plans to become a rediologic technologist. She knows how important the images from all of the scans are in a diagnose for a patient and to coordinate treatment plans. Caring for others who are going through difficult times or may receive difficult news, especially while in the hospital, is important to Allison.

Her last sentence of the application states “ If I am given the opportunity to accept this scholarship, I guarantee that I will put all of my hard work and determination into creating a successful outcome.”
