...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM MDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN KIMBALL AND EAST CENTRAL LARAMIE COUNTIES...
At 722 PM MDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Albin, or 22
miles west of Kimball, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Damaging tornado and two inch hail.
SOURCE...This storm has a history of multiple tornadoes. It has
currently lifted, but please stay updated in the event a
new tornado occurs.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Kimball and east central Laramie Counties.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.
This is a dangerous storm, producing large hail driven by severe
