This was also the first year for the Fair to host a beer garden. Kurz said the beer garden was staffed by volunteers and there were no incidents incidents of customers out of control.
"This is one (Fair) that I'm proud of," he said. "I look forward to next year."
The Fair also included strong participation in the 4-H events. The static events had a variety of crafts from baked goods to photography and embroidery.
The last day of the Fair started with the livestock sale. Many of the purchasers returned their buy to be sold a second time.
This year's Fair also garnered the attention of rodeo aficionados with the PRCA rodeo and Cervi Championship Rodeo coming together for a night of bronco-bustin' bull-riding entertainment.
