Kimball Banner County Fair is underway

With the earliest events taking place on Wednesday and Thursday of last week, the Kimball Banner County Fair is now in full swing.

Today between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. 4-H and FFA static exhibits will be setup in the 4-H building, with the dog show to follow at 5:00 p.m.

Tomorrow you. will find food trucks on the midway, a corn hole tournament and weigh-ins. The evening will offer a Small Animal Show and the PRCA rodeo.

Wednesday will have the horse show along with the midway food trucks and a movie night with popcorn and drinks provided.

Thursday the food trucks will be joined on the midway by bounce houses. Several FFA shows are slated for Thursday. At 5:00 the free community barbecue begins.

Friday the midway and shows will be open all day with the mini-bulls and mutton bustin taking place at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday will be the livestock auctions and the midway bounce houses.

The Rubber Check Race will also make its Kimball debut this Saturday at 7:00 p.m. The race that has become a crowd favorite in the panhandle is a relay of two horses, a 4-wheeler and a wheel barrow.
