Terrytown woman arrested for DUI following injury accident
An incident at a Scottsbluff gas station Tuesday night left a man injured and a woman facing DUI charges.
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - An incident at a Scottsbluff gas station Tuesday night left a man injured and a woman facing DUI charges.
Officers with the Scottsbluff Police Department were dispatched to the Short Stop located at 2002 Avenue I around 7:20 p.m. Upon arrival they found a vehicle on top of a gas pump and a man on the ground next to a motorcycle.
Police determined that 62-year-old Renee Mueller Fieck of Terrytown was backing from a parking stall and hit a man who was standing next to a motorcycle. After striking the man, Fieck continued backing up her Ford Freestyle in a circle until it came to rest on top of a gas pump.
The man she hit was identified as 49-year-old Brent Kreiling of Terrytown. Kreiling was taken by ambulance to Regional West Medical Center. His exact condition is unknown.
Fieck was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, Disorderly Conduct, and No Operators License. The Scottsbluff Police Department was assisted by The Scottsbluff Fire Department, Valley Ambulance, and the Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Office.
