TORRINGTON, Wy. (KNEP) - The Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution will welcome a new Deputy Warden next month.

The Wyoming Department of Corrections announced Shea Rose will serve as the Deputy Warden at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution beginning Nov. 1.

Rose began his career with the WDOC at the Wyoming Honor Farm in 2010, where he served as a correctional officer until 2016. After he received a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wyoming, he returned to work at the Wyoming State Penitentiary in 2018 where he worked as a correctional officer and a case worker. In 2021 he was promoted to Unit Supervisor at the WSP.

“I want to welcome Deputy Warden Rose to his next leadership role. I have no doubt he will make a great addition to the WMCI Team,” said WDOC Director Daniel Shannon.
