Former Nebraska Cornhusker, and current President of The 1890 Initiative, Matt Davison hopped on board 987 The Big Boy and Cheyenne County Country on Monday, Dec. 18 to discuss their goal of raising $500,000 by 3 p.m. Tuesday.
SIDNEY - Former Nebraska Cornhusker, and current President of The 1890 Initiative, Matt Davison hopped on board 987 The Big Boy and Cheyenne County Country on Monday, Dec. 18 to discuss their goal of raising $500,000 by 3 p.m. Tuesday to support student-athletes at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
The 1890 Initiative is a name, image, and likeness (NIL) collective built to support Nebraska student-athletes. They were created to assist students in the Husker football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and other athletic programs in getting the most benefit from NIL while positively impacting the Nebraska community on and off the field or court.
