Authorities arrest Potter man after driving in wrong lane on Highway 71

Authorities arrested a Potter man on driving under the influence charges after he was seen driving north in the southbound lanes of Highway 71 in the Wildcat Hills on Tuesday night.

SCOTTSBLUFF - Authorities arrested a Potter man on driving under the influence charges after he was seen driving north in the southbound lanes of Highway 71 in the Wildcat Hills on Tuesday night.

Police says Michael Lulf, 63, led authorities on a four-mile pursuit after they attempted a traffic stop. Police officers discovered an open container in the vehicle and Lulf had a strong odor of alcohol on him when he was pulled over. 

Lulf is also charged with possession of an open alcohol container and flight to avoid arrest.
