Red Raiders Advance to District Final

The Sidney Red Raiders outscored Chadron in every quarter on the way to winning the C1-12 Sub-District championship game Thursday night at the Cabela’s Athletic Facility.

SIDNEY - The Sidney Red Raiders outscored Chadron in every quarter on the way to winning the C1-12 Sub-District championship game Thursday night at the Cabela’s Athletic Facility. Keian Kaiser’s 13 points led three Sidney players in double-figures as the Red Raiders down the Cardinals for the third time this season, 49-32.

Alek Doty and Isak Doty each chipped in 11 points while Reid Fiscus added nine points as Sidney improved to 21-2 on the season. Brady Daniels, Broc Berry, and Tyler Spotted Elk each scored eight points for the Cardinals, who end their season with a 15-9 record.

The Red Raiders advance to the C1-4 District Final and will face 18-7 Malcolm at 3:00 p.m. MT in Gothenburg on Saturday afternoon with a berth in the state tournament on the line. The Clippers beat Milford 57-31 to claim the C1-5 Sub-District played in Malcolm.
