Minor injuries reported in rollover accident

Minor injuries were reported when three vehicles collided Friday afternoon, May 17 in Scottsbluff.

SCOTTSBLUFF -- Minor injuries were reported when vehicles collided and one rolled over 5:50 p.m. Friday, May 17.

A 2015 Ford Explorer, driven by Michaela Moreno, 31 of Scottsbluff, was north on 1st Avenue approaching E. 20th Street.

The Ford Explorer then failed to stop at the stop sign and entered the intersection. The Ford Explorer collided with a 2004 Chevrolet Venture driven by Tonya Janis, 40, Scottsbluff, which was east on E. 20th Street.

The Chevrolet Venture then rolled onto the driver’s side. A third vehicle, 2001 Ford Windstar, was west on E. 20th Street and was struck by debris from the Ford Explorer.

This vehicle was driven by Debbie Subias, 57 of Scottsbluff. Janis and a passenger, Harold Sitting Bear, reported minor injuries and were transported to Regional West Medical Center.

Moreno was issued citations for No Operators License and Stop Sign Violation. Janis was cited for No Valid Registration and Sitting Bear was cited for No Insurance.
