Adams Industries, Price Cream team up for 'Sundaes with Seniors'

SIDNEY -- Earlier today, the public was invited to share a snack with a senior, a grandpa, maybe a great-grandpa.

 Becky Rowan of Adams Industries said the event is an effort to support the seniors of the community.

"Today we are doing 'Sundaes with Seniors.' Adams Industries and Price Cream wanted to do something special for our senior citizens at the Sloan Estates," Rowan said at the event today.

The theme of the gathering was Sundaes with Seniors. Family, friends and the public were invited to stop by Sloan Estates, meet the residents and share some ice cream.

"We brought in ice cream and toppings and invited family members and really anybody that wanted to come down and just have a chat with some seniors," she said.

Rowan said the event is to "give them a little love and visitors."

"We have a culture committee at Adams Industries and so we just try to come up with different ways of doing events out in the community," she said.
