Both Kimball basketball teams came up short Friday night against Perkins County.

After a pair of tough JV games that went back and forth and ended in Perkins County victories. The lady Longhorns varsity faced off against a tough lady Plainsmen team Friday evening at home. JaLeigh Bohac and Clarika Hottell led the Longhorns with 10 and 9 points respectively. Hottell led the team with rebounds as well. Unfortunately, the plainsmen powerhouse duo of Ella Holman and Madison Potts were too much for Kimball and won 54-44, to spite a second half rally by the longhorns.

The boys team was led by Kyler Lusche with 22 points, Braxton Miller with 12, and Ryker Behrend with 8. Perkins County was led by Ryder Potts with Jackson Wykert combining for 24 points. The plainsmen won the game 69-60.
