SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. — A 16-year-old charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a Scottsbluff teen pleaded not guilty Friday in Scotts Bluff County Court.

His attorney, Michael Meister, filed a motion requesting the case be transferred to juvenile court. Judge Andrea Miller granted the motion for evaluation, but in the meantime, a pre-trial hearing is scheduled for May 21 at 8 a.m.
