Mustangs sweep the Coyotes

The Mustangs rallied behind Jr. Hannah Kugler's 9 kills, 4 ace serves and a block to lead Prairie to a 3-0 win over Potter-Dix Tuesday evening in Potter.

POTTER - The Mustangs rallied behind Jr. Hannah Kugler's 9 kills, 4 ace serves and a block to lead Prairie to a 3-0 win over Potter-Dix Tuesday evening in Potter.

Sr. Tanna Bailey added 8 kills, 3 ace and 2 blocks and Sr. Macie Jaeger added 6 kills and an ace serve.

Sr. Nicole Ludgate assisted all but 1 assists with 27. 

As a team the Mustangs had a total of 30 kills, 13 ace serves, and 3 blocks.

The Coyotes were led by So. Alexa Shoemaker who ended the game with 5 kills followed behind Sr. Micayla McConnell with 4 kills, 3 assists, and a pair of ace serves. 

Sr. Kenzie Shoemaker added a kill, block and ace serve as well.

Potter-Dix finished the evening with 11 kills, 4 ace serves, a block and 9 assists.

The Mustangs remain undefeated at 5-0 and will host Peetz (1-4) Wednesday at 5:30 in New Raymer, CO. The Coyotes will fall to 2-3 and will travel to Mitchell for a triangular with the Tigers (0-2) and Kimball Longhorns (2-2) on Thursday, September 11.
