SIDNEY -- Bomgaars continues to show their support for Night of Hope with its annual Ladies Night.

The annual event was held Sunday night.

Store Manager Beau McCollum said the store owners like to support communities.

"Tonight, of our proceeds between 5 and 8 (p.m.), 5 percent goes back to the Night of Hope. This is something that's to our owners, Roger and Jim Bomgaars, who like to give back to the community. So, we're not corporate-owned, we're family owned," McCollum said Sunday night.

Night of Hope President Kim Phillips represented the event Sunday.

"I've been the president for several years now. This is the fifth year we've been invited by Bomgaars to come out and be a part of their Ladies Night," she said.

2025 is Night of Hope's 25th anniverary.

"We receive 5 percent of the proceeds that are done hear tonight. This year, we're giving away the t-shirts since it was our 25th anniversary this year. We are thankful to Bomgaars and our local store to support us," she said.

The Night of Hope Walk for Cancer Foundation is dedicated to raising funds and offering assistance to cancer patients in the community and surrounding area. The Night of Hope Walk for Cancer is held each year on the second Friday in August at Legion Park.
