Scottsbluff authorities investigating unattended death report

SCOTTSBLUFF -- At about 4 p.m. Monday, Scottsbluff Police responded to 1624 Ave E in Scottsbluff in reference to an unattended death. 

Due to initial details, the home was secured and a search warrant was sought and granted for gathering of evidence from within the home. The investigation was able to determine there is no threat to the community.

An autopsy was ordered and the investigation is ongoing at this time. 

Next of kin have been notified and are aware of the continuing investigation.
